It is with a saddened heart that I write this, I have been sent the following by the new HQSO(C).

I am John Butler the new HQSO (C) and my remit is to sort out the comms syllabus, and at a recent Communications Seminar it was decided that as we don�t appear to be any further forward with the Cadet Packet Radio, and the associated problems that the units are having getting the equipment it was decided to concentrate all our efforts on voice as this is easier to achieve. I appreciate how much effort you have put into this and thank you for what you have done but unfortunately we wont be needing your services in the future.

I have sent an e-mail back to the new HQSO(C), but as things stand now DataCadet is "NO MORE THAN A NAME", I'm sorry to all that helped me along the way, but my hands are tied.
